This week the team at Indexly shipped a feature I've wanted for a while: a way to inject your actual brand positioning into AI-generated content. Plus the content overview now writes on-demand listicles, how-tos, and comparisons.

Brand narrative now shapes your AI content

The old content generation flow treated every article the same way: keyword in, article out. But your brand has a voice, a positioning, a reason for existing. The brand narrative field gives you a place to inject that context so the output actually sounds like it came from your company, not a generic content mill.

For every new article you generate, use the 'Brand Narrative' field in the Content Opportunities or in the Auto-Pilot Engine, to explain our AI writer why a piece matters for your brand. Whatever you write here gets woven into your AI-generated articles.

Try it: Open any content plan in Auto-Pilot Engine, click Edit, and fill in the Brand Narrative field. Or add it when creating new opportunities from Content Opportunities.

Analyze prompts at a deeper level, understand what content works to get mentioned

Analyze Prompt Responses

The tracked prompts page now opens with a summary card showing total prompts, trend charts, and quick stats before you dive into the table.

You can go deeper to analyze a prompt their visibility score, trend and view responses and mentions across AI engines like ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity, AI Mode, Gemini and more.

Analyze citations too, the source that AI engines use to answer user queries. See what type of articles AI engines use to cite brands.

Citations

All this will help you understand what content works - what gets cited and what gets mentioned. 😄

Content Dashboard for on-demand articles

New page at /content lets you generate articles outside the auto-pilot calendar—pick a type, enter your topic, and go.

Go to the Content Authority > Overview Page, Click on ‘Add New Context’ from top right, just select the article type, add a few details about the brand narrative, tone, language and voice of the article and forget it. Once the article is generated, we send you an email notification. If you have also configured your CMS, the content gets auto-published on your site too 😃

Curious to learn from you!

That’s it! That’s all we had last week.

Try the brand narrative field on your next content plan—curious to hear if it changes the output quality for you. An on-demand article with a changed brand narrative will be amazing to try.

We take your feedback seriously and constantly improve the product, so curios to hear from you.
